I agree, Donna. Google app of the body looks really good. We do have our own body Avatar inside the Diary for registering a body-related symptom though. This is one of the the features that attracts the users - being able to click on the body (no health-related literacy is needed).

Yes, policy has to be patient centric. And it is. It is not possible to design policy which covers everyone. I am quite easy with current health care policy (and I am not obama supporter)

The Google App of the body is fantastic, and yes would be great with Lifetime Health Diary. Love the ability to "peel" away the body layers - so informative - so much better than looking at a diagram in a book.

The better the health record that we can leave our health professionals to more fully understand our own unique clinical story, the better.

And if that story is shared with our permission amongst clinicians who are caring for us, even across disparate data silos, then finally we may really be in a situation where we can rely on their judgments and treatments without continually checking every step.

Although, since we ourselves have a better idea of how our body feels than anybody else, then I think that even in a world of perfect medical data, there will always be an active role for us to engage in our health care along with our health professionals.

Hi K,
You mentioned this yesterday, but reading your situation in print made the ridiculousness of trying to get information out of "the system" in a timely manner absolutely clear.
This is a really good example of how the system needs to conform more to our needs as patients and people.
